You will be thrilled to fly 20 meters over the jungle canopy (66 feet) in the wildest and fastest zip line circuit in the area! And will be prepared and geared up to rappel thru and into the jungle to finish with a well deserved swim in a cenote.  A delicious lunch buffet under a typical Mayan palapa will follow.  You will spend an aprox of 45 minutes exploring the ruins and enjoy a delicious lunch buffet under a typical Mayan palapa sorrounded by nature sounds.

While driving through the National Park, drinks will be offered until the arrival to the fishing village of Punta Allen.  Once in Punta Allen, our boat safari trip will begin (3 hours aprox.) visiting mangroves inhabited by many different species of birds.  Afterwards, a serious search  for the marine turtles and dolphins in their natural habitat will take place.  A visit to the world second largest coral reef will be our side dish.

To end the aqua safari trip, the captains will invite you to a paradisiacal natural pool to take a fresh Caribbean bath.  After the swim you will be taken back to Punta Allen for have lunch.  Then, back to your hotel.

You will be picked up in your hotel, arrive on site, and after a short briefing on interesting facts and safety proccedures, you will start a journey through one of the most stunning natural wonders of the Riviera Maya.  You will descend into endless twisting corridors and pools formed by ancient geological processes.  You will swim and walk an easy 600-meter path surrounded by thousands of spectacular stalactites and stalagmites. While Río Secreto went unexplored for millions of years, it’s just recently opened to the public. You’ll never forget taking part in this beautiful, unique and rare excursion.

A few suggestions are:

Cozumel Island:  this tour allows you to appreciate the beauty of the island, the incredible coral reef barrier, marine fauna and the impressive size of the cruise ships that arrive from all over to the Caribbean.  Tour takes 30 minutes.

Tulum:  a world of light, blinding white sands and turquoise shades will welcome you all of a  sudden.  The view from the sky unveils the structural wisdom of a silent temple, survivor of thousands of years.  It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Cancun and Isla Mujeres:  this flight offers an exciting view of busy Cancun.  You’ll also see the lagoon and the strait of turquoise sea between the island and the continent. It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Chichen Itza:  admire one of the 7 Wonders of the World from an angle just a few have ever had, focus on sacred cenote and the magnificent pyramid of Kukulkán.  You must visit this Mayan Jewel. It takes 3 hours.

Archaeological:

(Tulum, Coba & Chichen Itza):  for archeology lovers, we extend the Tulum experience toward Coba and Chichen Itza.  It takes 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Around 12.30 we will be having lunch in Playa norte (at Isla Mujeres), then back to Puerto Juarez to transfer you to Playa del Carmen.  By 4 you will be back in your hotel, realizing that this was truly a day to remember for a lifetime!

Note: Mexico remains as one of the few spots in the world where people are still allowed to swim with this marvelous creatures, plus this is the place with the biggest concentration of whale sharks in the world.  In other locations people can only see them from the boats, at a distance, and in much fewer numbers.

The Mayan civilization is one of the greatest and today, we can still feel its influence in architecture, philosophy, astronomy, cuisine and more.  Tulum is our favorite Mayan site: it is a very friendly, small and easy to visit.  The main occupation of this city was from 1200 to 1520 A.C., though there are vestiges from 564 A.C.  This site, surrounded by a wall, has mainly religious and civic buildings.  Our group will be joined by a local, certified guide. Our goal is to provide you with interesting information, spectacular views and certifiable fun, so after exploring the ruins, we will take you to the ‘Gran Cenote’.

The Yucatan is unique for its cenotes (water filled sinkholes, or entrances to subterranean river systems).  This cenote is impressively decorated with stalactites and stalagmites, above and beneath the surface. The water is cool and clear as air. We snorkel or swim for as long as the group wants.

We will then access the beach close to the entrance of the Sian Ka’an nature reserve, where there are hardly any people, just a long white paradise beach. We will set up lunch here, eat, swim in the sea, have a couple of beers, lay in a hammock, go for a stroll, you name it.  Welcome to Mexico!

On the way back to Playa, we will stop at another great little cenote, with tons of tropical freshwater fish, fossils, and the opportunity to jump off a cliff into to the crystal clear water. Float, swim, jump, snorkel or chill – your call.  Chances are good to also see some tropical birds.  A literally picture perfect end to a beautiful day.
